What if my Parents Won't Buy Me a Horse?
Louise has been teaching horsemanship and
riding to children since 1989.  Learn horse science,
stable management, all about tack and
equipment, and of course riding.  You must be
old enough to understand simple safety rules,
and to be able to concentrate for one-half to
one hour without coaching from your parents.  If
you want to try showing, you can ride my lesson
horse in local English, dressage, or western shows.
When you are ready we can go on trail rides and
even campouts.  (If you want to jump I allow my
horses to jump no higher than two feet for
schooling and shows, but you can learn an awful
lot of finesse at this height.)  All lessons are
private.  See
Rates page for current pricing.
